changing the past- there are photos and certain pieces or work which have a form of meaning or past meaning to the protagonist. for example, a photograph of somebody which they know or preferably don't like. looking back on these memories, protagonist will have the ability to remove these people from the past from wiping them off of the image.
as these characters are removed from the past, the present is simultaneously changed. this will cause a change in setting, relative characters and aesthetic feel to the film. lighting may become more low key or high key lit. certain colours may also match the feel to the mood after the past is changed.
at the beginning of the film there will be a brief introduction to a some characters which relate to the main character in either a possibly positive or negative way. the way they're treated and their reason for removal will be explored; allowing the spectator to make their own judgements and opinion of the protagonist decisions.
as the protagonist progresses through the story and realises the extent of their power to erase the past, they realise how far they can go with this and how everything that they do will erase the past but wont brig anything back. and ultimately they end up losing everything.
The ultimate aim with this film is to explore a range of colour and cinematic effects via camera visuals and editing to create a film aesthetic which looks at the same form of effects formed from worldwide cinema from auteurs such as Wong Kar Wai. for example: neon lighting, experimental lighting ranging many different colours, low saturation shots, night time filming, etc.
another aim would be exploring certain ideas of narrative and how to make the story as realistically sensible yet imaginative as it can be.
