film idea

film idea changing the past- there are photos and certain pieces or work which have a form of meaning or past meaning to the protagonist. for example, a photograph of somebody which they know or preferably don't like. looking back on these memories, protagonist will have the ability to remove these people from the past from wiping them off of the image. as these characters are removed from the past, the present is simultaneously changed. this will cause a change in setting, relative characters and aesthetic feel to the film. lighting may become more low key or high key lit. certain colours may also match the feel to the mood after the past is changed.                                     at the beginning of the film there will be a brief introduction to a some characters which relate to the main character in either a possibly positive or negative way. the way they're treated and their reason for ...

high maintenance This looks at 2 people at a table conversing with one another. The general colour scheme of black which coincide with the low key lighting to create a subdued and calm feeling towards this sequence and hence a feeling of mystery to the rest of the setting. I can use this by showing vague parts of mise-en-scene within the setting to reveal small parts of the protagonist. Only diegetic sound also creates a greater realist sense to the films feeling yet, it creates a feeling of discomfort with the eeriness of heaving every noise made loudly. the sound of eating and chewing sounds maximised to display that emotion; causing this opening scene to be more cringe worthy. the sudden turn of throwing wine and raising the voice from a light tone to a loud one shows the unhappiness of this female Curfew   ‘Richie’ is a character who is presented as being that of mystery.
